LED helps Canada catch wild geese

In Abbotsford, LED has helped a lot to solve the "goose plague" problem. The local management agency installed flashing LED lights in Lake Mill Park, which will drive away the geese that "rest" in the park at night. In the past, cleaning up goose eggs, feces, etc. produced by a large number of geese staying overnight required a lot of energy and cost.

In 1999, the "goose plague" also caused a serious aviation incident in the United States. An Airbus A320 flew into a flock of geese, causing both of the plane's engines to become paralyzed, and the plane crashed directly into the Hudson River in New York State. But luckily, all 155 passengers on the plane were rescued.
